Itinerary

10 Days

KAILASH YATRA BY HELI ONE WAY KATHMANDU

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu.

Upon arrival, you will me meet by our representative at Tribunal International Airport and assist you to transfer to Hotel Ramada or Everest or Similar Kathmandu. (twin sharing)

Day 02

Kathmandu  – Fly to Nepalgunj.

Morning sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath darshan and afternoon fly to Nepal Gunj (3650 m) 1hr flight. –Hotel Kalpataru or Central Plaza or Similar at Nepalgunj.(twin sharing)

Day 03

Fly Nepalgunj – Simikot (2870 m) – Hilsa – Taklakot (Purang) (3900 m).

Early morning fly to Simikot by fixed wing plane (1 hr flight) and change over at Simikot to fly further to Hilsa by helicopter (15-20 min flight) and trek 15 min to cross border and drive to Purang / Taklakot (1.5 hour). Overnight at Hotel Himalaya (4 Star) or Hotel Purang in Purang or Similar. (3/4 persons in a room with attached toilet)

Day 04

Full day in Taklakot (Purang)

Full day free for acclimatization. Short treks will be taken in preparation for Parikrama. Overnight at Hotel Himalaya (4 Star) or Hotel Purang in Purang or Similar. (3/4 sharing)

Day 05

Taklakot (Purang) to Manasarovar

Morning, Drive to Hor Chu (Manasarovar Lake) - 1.5 hours & start Manasarovar Parikrama 72 kms / 3 hrs. Take holy bath and start performing Puja & Hawan at Manasarovar by our Priest (Pujari). Overnight at Paramartha Guesthouse or Similar (Dormitory room) at Chiu Gompa.

Day 06

Drive to Darchen – Tarboche (Yama Dwar) & Trek to Diraphuk (Night at Diraphuk).

After early breakfast, drive to Darchen (1hrs) and continuous journey to Tarboche (Yama Dwar) 8 kms/20 min and start the first day Kailash Parikrama to Diraphuk (13 kms/6 hrs) light pack lunch on the way. Those who want to go for Charan Sparsh our sherpa staff will assist from Diraphuk camp to take further ahead for Charan Sparsh darshan (as per permission given by Chinese military or guide and depend on your health fitness, we will walk as much nearest possible towards Mt. Kailash, there is certain limitation point from where we have to return back). Dinner & overnight at Shishapangma or Wongda Guesthouse.(Dormitory room without attached toilet)

 

NOTE:- Yatris who do not go for Parikrama will stay  Hotel Letu/Sansui/Formant (4 Star) or similar

Day 07

Trek to Zuthulphuk (4760 M) 22 km / 9 hrs.

This is the day every pilgrims talk about, the most difficult journey throughout the yatra. You have to wake up early morning, you can see the blissful view of Golden Kailash in the morning at sunrise period (if weather is clear) - then those trekkers group start further kora with the steep climbing trek up to the 18,600 ft. (Dolma- la Pass) - descend to Gauri Kunda and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk. And those pilgrims who are not going kora ahead will return back to Darchen and if any of return members wish to go Charan Sparsh will get another chance today again. Dinner  & overnight at Zuthulphuk Guesthouse. (Dormitory room without attached toilet)

Day 08

 

Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Manasarovar / Simikot.

After breakfast we trek around 8 kms / 2 hrs and will be reaching to the point where the jeeps/bus will be waiting for taking us to Darchen. After lunch proceed to Lake Manasarovar (if full moon day) & overnight at Paramartha or Similar Guesthouse. 

OR if your program do not meet full moon day on this date then your program will follow our normal itinerary with exit to Hilsa & fly to Simikot. Overnight at Guesthouse in Hilsa or Simikot.

 Note:- We will take halt at Manasarovar (Chiu Gompa)  when the full moon day lies on this day. Otherwise we will exit to Hilsa & stay there or if time & Helicopter permits we will fly to Simikot & Stay there.

Day 09

Drive, Manasarovar to Hilsa and fly to Simikot Nepalgunj – Lucknow

If your program follow full moon day then you will wake up an early morning & have breakfast then around 8 am, drive to Taklakot with light packed lunch. After the immigration and custom formalities – cross over to Nepal border - drive to Hilsa and fly to Simikot – Nepalgunj. Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, our tour representative will assist you arranging your vehicle to drop Lucknow.

Day 10

Free / Buffer Day

This day is kept as buffer day to adjust any unexpected delays or cancellation. One day we have kept leisure day because sometimes the aircraft and helicopters do not fly in time or cancel due to bad weather or being more crowd of yatris flying to Simikot or Hilsa. In such unexpected situation, all of us will stay at Hilsa or Simikot or Nepalgunj.

Hence, even if you stuck or get halt on any of previous day then you will reach Nepalgunj today and we will arrange your transfer for Lucknow drop.

Extra charges for Extra extra nights in Nepalgunj, Simikot and Hilsa if aircraft and helicopters do not fly in time or cancel due to bad weather or being more crowds of yatris.

If need Ponies  for riding upon for Kailash Kora, early request to our guide is necessary and the cost will be borne by guest on the spot. Beware of the possible risk being thrown out by the ponies.

Any expenses of personal nature such as travel insurance, drinks, laundry, telephone / fax calls, porters or   arranging additional transportation.

Any additional expenses caused by reasons beyond our control such as natural calamities ( landslides, floods), flight delays, rescheduling or cancellations, any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes, evacuation costs etc.

INDIAN NATIONAL  Rs. 2,95,000/-Per Person (1750 USD <1$=84INR> INR 1,47,000/- + INR 1,48,000/-)+ 5% GST + 5% TCS

Note:- This Cost fully dependent on dollar exchange rate and China Govt.

Note: - The above given costs are based on 5 passengers sharing in one helicopter. If there is any change in the aviation rules by Government of Nepal imposing 4 passengers in one chopper, then the new rates of helicopter will be applied and the guests should pay the supplement cost for the difference.

Horse and Porter cost will be extra for walking parikrama of kailash yatra cost find below down

1.    Horse Cost INR:-45,000 to 55,000/-(Yuan:-4000 to 4200) per persons

2.    Porter Cost INR:-10,000 to 15,000/- (Yuan:-1000 to 1500) per person

Note:- Horse and porter cost fully dependent on China Govt.

Payment:  Initial Booking amount Rs 20,000/ - only (Consulting fee Non-refundable) along with color copy of passport

Note : Foreign Passport Holders : 560$ extra charge towards China visa & Nepal visa and taxes.

Note: NRI or Foreign Nationalsshould arrive in Kathmandu few days earlier than of the departure day.

The visa formality takes three working days in Kathmandu so that their arrival days should be fall on Sunday / Monday / Tuesdayto meet the visa procedure working days. If the above departure dates do not meet these arrival days then please contact us beforeyour confirm your flight ticket. The additional cost there of incur due to early arrival than of above package itinerary for visa formalitiesshould be borne by NRI guests itself.
